True prayer is a life of radical abiding in God.

A tourist spending the night in a small New England Town joined a group sitting on the porch of the general store.  After several vain attempts to start a conversation asked, "Is there a law against talking in this town."

"No law against it," said one old timer. We just like to make sure it's an improvement on silence."

In the fullness of silence
healing is greatly enhanced.

As you see the world as part of yourself
you will care for it;
As you see yourself as part of the world
you will be cared for.

When alone with your thoughts,
listen and hear the Silence.
Listen and see the Silence.
Listen and taste the Silence.
Close your eyes and feel the Silence
deep within.

Let the woodlands become your chapel --
your body the altar.
In the Silence, as you begin to
communicate with the Creator,
receive peace.

Sitting still
doing nothing
Spring comes
and the grass grows by itself.

May the love you are shine brightly;
May love bless you and all you meet!

A vision without a task
might be a mirage
A task without a vision
can be drudgery
But a vision with a task
brings hope to the world.

There is always music amongst the trees in the garden, but our hearts must be very quiet to hear it.

Study the silence of the wise ones,
there you will find messages
for your soul.
